How to recreate Jade Kisnorbo’s blue eye make-up look
The House of Wellness beauty expert Jade Kisnorbo shows you how to recreate a pastel blue eye make-up look, which makes the perfect statement for spring
From bright, electric pops to pretty pastel shades, it’s time to have some fun and channel the ‘80s vibe with a glam splash of blue.
The blue shade is particularly great for making brown eyes pop, but it is universally flattering for all eye colours.
Pastel blue eyes are also one of the key statement trends of the season and the look can easily be recreated at home by following a few simple steps with the help of @jade__kmakeup and @frankieevanss.
Get the look: Beautiful blue eyeshadow
Step 1
Prep the eye by using L’Oreal concealer or an eye primer on the lid, before setting with translucent powder to lock the base in place.
Step 2
Using a L’Oreal pastel blue eyeshadow, apply it to the entire perimeter of the eyelid, blending outwards with a fluffy eye brush to give a smoky, diffused look.
Re-apply the shadow on the lid area to further intensify the colour while giving a gradient effect to the eyes.
Step 3
Open up the eyes by using a Manicare eyelash curler.
For added definition, use Maybelline eyeliner and mascara.
