Summer berry smoothie

Berry smoothie with banana

Whip up this vegetarian smoothie for a filling breakfast or snack. It taste great, is loaded with antioxidants and is high in fibre.

Ingredients

  • 250 g mixed berries, such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 600 ml milk
  • 100 ml orange juice

Method

Step 1.
Wash the berries and pat dry with kitchen paper.

Step 2.
Peel and chop the bananas. Reserve a little fruit for garnish if liked.

Step 3.
Blend the rest of the fruit with the lemon juice, honey, milk and orange juice.

Step 4.
Pour into 400ml glasses and serve garnished with the reserved fruit.

Serves 4
