Turmeric Smoothie

Tropical Turmeric Smoothie

This smoothie will give you a boost of antioxidants and support your active lifestyle with turmeric, a powerful anti-inflammatory.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tinned coconut milk
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups frozen mango cheeks
  • 1 cup frozen banana chunks
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh turmeric, grated (or 1 teaspoon ground turmeric)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (or 1/3 teaspoon ground ginger)
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut, toasted, to garnish 

Method

Step 1.
Add all of the ingredients to a powerful blender and blitz on high until nice and creamy.

Step 2.
Pour into two glasses and top with the toasted coconut. 

Serves 2
