Chicken Satay Nourish Bowl

Ramp up your healthy eating efforts with this delicious and easy to assemble nourish bowl. Filled with in-season veggies and spiced with warming turmeric, it’s sure to become a regular favourite.


Turmeric Cauliflower

  • 1 tsp Bioglan Organic Coconut Oil
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tbs lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Peanut Satay Sauce

  • 1 tbs natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbs lime juice
  • 2 tbs water
  • ½ tbs maple syrup
  • ½ tsp Bioglan Beef Bone Broth Powder
  • ½ tsp Sriracha (or any garlic chilli sauce of choice)

To assemble

  • ½ cup cooked brown rice
  • ½ cup shredded roasted chicken
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 2 handfuls of pea sprouts
  • 2 handfuls of bean sprouts
  • Slices of cucumber using a peeler
  • Few sprigs of coriander
  • Sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds


For the turmeric cauliflower

Heat coconut oil in a small pan on medium heat, add garlic and cook for 3 seconds.

Add turmeric, salt and pepper and stir until cauliflower is fully coated with turmeric. Cover pan with lid and let cook for 2 minutes.

Add lime juice and stir to coat. Remove from heat and set aside.

For the peanut satay sauce

Add all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until creamy and well combined.

To assemble

Divide all ingredients into two bowls, then top with turmeric cauliflower.

Drizzle peanut satay sauce on and sprinkle with pumpkin and sesame seeds.

Serve fresh and enjoy.
