Kid-Friendly Hummus

Introduce new flavours to your child’s diet with this easy peasy and delicious hummus recipe from Whole Kids that is perfect for a healthy after school snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups tinned organic chickpeas (220g), drained
  • 1/2 tsp cumin, ground
  • 2 tbs fresh coriander, chopped
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 tbs organic tahini
  • 3 tbs warm water

Method

Step 1.
Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth in texture.

Step 2.
Add more lemon juice, sea salt, black pepper or tahini to suit your child’s taste.

Step 3.
Pour in a bowl and drizzle over a little olive oil and sprinkle smoked paprika and/or coriander on top to add colour and extra flavour.
