Tea-Poached Pears with Honey Yoghurt and Caramelised Walnuts
A gorgeous dessert that can be eaten anytime of year, these lovely poached pears are sure to brighten up your skin – and your day.
Ingredients
- 4 cups boiling water
- 8 chamomile tea bags
- 2-4 tbs honey
- 4 Bosc pears, scored at the top
Yoghurt
Walnuts
- ½ cup walnuts
- 2 tbs honey

Method
Step 1.
Preheat oven to 160C. Line a baking tray with baking paper, place walnuts on the tray and drizzle with honey, coating evenly. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden in colour. Remove from the heat and let cool.
Step 2.
Place teabags and boiling water in a heatproof jug, let steep for 5 minutes, remove tea bags.
Step 3.
Transfer tea mixture to a large saucepan, add honey and let dissolve over a medium heat. Add pears and bring to the boil. Turn the heat down and simmer gently for 20 minutes or until pears are tender.
Step 4.
In a separate bowl, mix together the inner glow powder, yoghurt and honey. Adjust sweetness to taste, set aside.
Step 5.
To serve, place a pear in each bowl, dollop with a spoonful of yoghurt and sprinkle with the walnuts.
