Marinated Tofu and Sesame Seed Brochettes
Going meat-free never tasted so good! These moreish kebabs are light, easy to make and bursting with health-boosting benefits.
Ingredients
- 50ml olive oil
- 2 tbs honey
- 400g tofu, cut into 5cm cubes
- 4 tbs sesame seeds
- 150g mixed-leaf salad
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Method
Step 1.
Preheat a frying pan or barbecue grill plate to hot. Whisk together the olive oil and honey.
Step 2.
Thread the cubes of tofu onto skewers, fitting 4 to each brochette. Brush with the olive oil and honey mixture and season well.
Step 3.
Coat the tofu cubes in the sesame seeds so that they are covered evenly. Grill or fry for 6-8 minutes until golden brown on the outside.
Step 4.
Arrange the salad on serving plates. Place the tofu brochettes on top of the salad and serve immediately.
