Vegetables with cottage cheese dip

This effortless, high-protein snack is ideal for entertaining or if you’re craving a healthy nibble.


250 g cottage cheese

1 small shallot; finely chopped

1 clove garlic; crushed

2 tbsp chives; chopped


freshly ground black pepper

To serve:

1/2 head broccoli; cut into florets

1 large carrot; cut into batons

1 red pepper; thickly sliced

4 spring onions; trimmed

100 g radishes; halved


Step 1.

Put the cottage cheese in a bowl with the shallot, garlic and chives. Mix well, then season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 2.

Blanch broccoli in boiling, salted water for 2 minutes, then plunge into cold water. Drain well and blot dry with kitchen paper.

Step 3.  

Serve the dip with broccoli, carrot, peppers, spring onions and radishes on the side.

Serves 2-4.
