The House of Wellness – Season 4, Episode 38

Halloween is just around the corner so this week on the show we’re throwing in some health with a futuristic twist. It’s the stuff of science fiction movies but 3D heart holograms are becoming a reality in an American laboratory. Meet the developers who see a future for a potential lifesaving technology that they want to see used worldwide.

What started out as a washing machine in the back of a van, has become a much bigger operation for two young Australians of the Year. Their simple idea to help out the homeless has become a thriving business and a sanctuary for many living on the street. With the NRL Grand Final kicking off on Sunday – it’s a big day for rugby fans. Penrith Panthers winger Josh Mansour opens up about his season, while in Melbourne we meet a dancer who literally took his craft the streets in an effort to brighten his day and lift the spirits of his local community. His moves have gone viral reaching people across the globe.

Last year we met Steve Watts who was juggling his Parkinson’s diagnosis, his treatment and his career as a firefighter. He’s back with a call out for support for his fellow firefighters in a special 48 hour challenge.

And a special tribute to some of the most special people in our lives… grandparents, on this National Grandparent’s Day. Our favourite granddad, Gerald Quigley answers all your health questions.

Cast: Luke Darcy, Jo Stanley, and Luke Hines, with Gerald Quigley.
