This week on the House of Wellness we hit Lower Manhattan where every day hundreds of people queue for their early morning yoga session, over 300 metres above the ground. New York’s Hudson’s Yards is the highest outdoor sky deck in the western hemisphere. But are the 360 views of the big apple too much of a distraction from achieving a perfect downward dog? Not according to the Aussies who are living the sky high dream.

Days at preschool are carefree and fun, playing in the sand pit or finger painting. But we visit a kindergarten that’s educating its youngsters about finances – and not just child’s play. These kids are getting a feel for real money and how to use it in the real world.

When it comes to weekends, climbing a ladder is almost sport for a lot of men over 50. Hospital emergency departments record high numbers of ladder falls for men because of some very simple oversights. Dr Rob Eley steps through the dangers and how to avoid a ladder related accident.
