What beauty tip do you swear by?

Sleep… never underestimate the importance of sleep. Also, hydration and sunscreen. A simple, but winning, trio.

What’s your best health tip?

Listen to your body. It has a remarkable way of telling you what you need and alerting you if something isn’t right.

How do you prepare leading up to a show?

I really try to nourish myself. Fashion shows and events can be quite overwhelming and adrenaline endorsing. I like to spend some time to myself in solitude.

Which VAMFF event are you looking forward to?

The International Women’s Day Runway.

Jasmin Amma, 31, Melbourne

What beauty tip do you swear by?

I love using a little bit of concealer under my eyes and in the areas I want to brighten, combined with a bit of bronzer for my cheeks, clear brow gel to get that editorial vibe and a hydrating lip balm.

What’s your best health tip?

I drink plenty of water, and aim for two to three litres a day. It helps my skin my glow and my body feel cleansed.

How do you prepare leading up to a show

I make sure I get enough rest at night, eat healthy food, drink lots of H2O and practise positive self-talk.

Which VAMFF event are you looking forward to?

I’d really like to catch Runway 5, presented by GQ. I love menswear.

Hanan Ibrahim, 26, Melbourne

What beauty tip do you swear by?

Qasil leaf powder, turmeric, yoghurt, honey, and lemon face mask – it gives you the smoothest, glowing skin. It’s an ancient Somali home remedy passed down from my mum.

What’s your best health tip?

Drink your two litres of water a day.

How do you prepare leading up to a show?

By getting my green veggies and vitamin intake up. I practise lagree fitness three times a week and intermittently fast two days a week to cleanse my system.

Which VAMFF event are you looking forward to?

The Grand Showcase by (Toni) Maticevski – his silhouettes and edgy gowns are purely magical.

Lim Lee, 25, Seoul/Melbourne

What beauty tip do you swear by?

I really don’t have any special secret to share. I am Korean so I might be in a better position to able to approach all the incredible Korean beauty items.

What’s your best health tip?

Sometimes we need to make spare time to enjoy our own time.

It doesn’t need to be fancy – something like when you are craving delicious chocolate cookies, you can eat them, no matter that it is called “junk food”.

How do you prepare leading up to a show?

I’ve been trying to push myself to go to the gym twice a day. I love my look to be strong and sharp, which means I never do fasting to look skinny because I know that is really not sustainable.

Which VAMFF event are you looking forward to?

The whole VAMFF event. I saw tonnes of stunning pictures of last season and I am so ready to rock.
