Good Friday Appeal

Bambi Mini Co. founder Nicole Verrocchi shares an update on how son Rafael (Raffi) is doing since receiving life-saving treatment for B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

The Good Friday Appeal is a massive, critical annual fundraiser for the hospital.

The Run for the Kids has raised more than $26m for The Royal Children’s Hospital since its inception in 2006.

The money goes towards ground-breaking research, life-saving equipment, family-centred care and on-going training and education for hospital staff.

Asthma in kids

Around 2.7 million Australians live with asthma, including children.

Royal Children’s Hospital director of general medicine Dr Sarah McNab discusses asthma in kids and how to treat it.

She explains what RSV is and reveals the most common reason for kids being admitted to hospital.
