Recipe: Pink grapefruit fizz

As the weather sizzles, keep your cool with this tangy non-alcoholic grapefruit drink that is light and fruity.

Ingredients

40g light brown sugar

2 tbsp boiling water

375ml freshly squeezed ruby grapefruit juice (3 grapefruits)

2 tbsp lime juice

375ml sparkling mineral water

ice cubes, to serve

Method

Step 1. 

Stir the sugar together with the boiling water until melted. Cool.

Step 2

To serve, mix the sugar syrup together with all the remaining ingredients in a jug. Taste and adjust if needed.

Step 3. 

Add a small handful of ice cubes to 4 glasses and pour the grapefruit mix in. Cheers!
