Banana green tea smoothie

This thick and rich smoothie is great for a nutrient-packed breakfast or after a workout. Matcha is high in antioxidants and helps boost brain function.

Ingredients

  • 850 ml whole milk
  • 175g (3/4 cup) plain Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 2 large bananas; chopped
  • 2 mangos; halved, pitted, peeled, and diced
  • 400g (1 ½) cups crushed ice

Method

Step 1. Combine the milk, yoghurt, honey, matcha green tea powder, bananas, and mangos in a blender. 

Step 2. Blend on high until smooth. Add the crushed ice and blend again until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. 

Step 3. Divide between glasses and serve immediately.

Tip: Enjoy fresh as it cannot be frozen.

Serves 4.
