Get Nourished recipes: Quick and fruity smoothies for improved libido

Lacking lust in the bedroom? This week on Get Nourished, Luke Hines and Zoe Bingley-Pullin dish up two delicious smoothie recipes to help fire up your libido.

A loss of libido can be challenging for couples looking for a more fulfilling sex life, but some experts say getting the right nutrients may just one of many solutions to the problem.

Luke’s smooth and creamy apple smoothie is packed with an antioxidant called quercetin, which may help treat erectile dysfunction and low libido.

Meanwhile, Zoe’s watermelon-based frappe is rich with the amino acid citrulline, known to potentially be a natural form of viagra.

Other ways to recover a loss of libido may also include herbal alternatives such as tribulus from Ayurvedic medicine, and epimedium and ginkgo from traditional Chinese medicine.
